Ecoharmony is committed to become a reference company in terms of environmentally "green" ethics, actions, and processes.
Aside from being a recycling firm, one of our main priorities is to actively contribute to reduce global warming.
Our implemented technology will achieve this goal.
- First, all of the energy consumed in our facility will be clean and renewable.
Instead of using conventional electricity, we generate our own energy power through the implemented fermentation system, making ecoHarmony auto-sufficient in energy consumption.
- Second, our fermentation process is specially designed to prevent methane release into the atmosphere.
If the organic products are not suitably treated through their decomposition stages, they mainly release CH4 (methane). This gaz, 21 times more polluting than CO2, is captured by our sytem before it escapes into the air.
Regarding this aspect, ecoHarmony aims to become an active player of the Kyoto Protocol. Our objective is to registrate our activity as a Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) through the United Nations, and generate Certified Emissions Reductions (CERs).
